I was trying to find a somewhat cool and reliable 'beater' for wisconsin and there is like nothing under 3k that isnt a literal broken pile of rust that wont run.

I have a m52 rotating assembly left over from my stroker project I am looking to get rid of - roughly 150 thousand miles on the Pistons, Crank, and Rods.

I've heard the crank can be used to stroke m20s?

I'd prefer to sell locally so I don't need to ship it, please make me an offer if you're interested!

Gush dern Internet n stuff

Sites like BAT, eBay..etc. And shows like Chasing Classic Cars and Wheeler Dealer have made everyone think their clapped out, rusty turd that's over 25 years old is a hidden gem and asks top dollar.

Course, the reverse is true too, everyone looks at eBay and the high volume car recyclers/used parts places and expects the same prices locally from Craigslist/r3v/Offer Up.

Hell, people have just gotten lazy when it comes to bargaining. How often do you get "What's the lowest you'll go" when trying to sell something. Doesn't matter what - I see it with anything, even non-car stuff.

I don't mind paying decent money for a nice car, but some people consideration of what it takes to get the car they are selling to that condition is some time askew. Especially when it comes to body work, to get a beat up car with rust in the major panels to even decent looking condition again is several grand+. But you'll see people selling cars and saying "oh, the paint is bad, so I'm gonna knock $500 off the price."

And I'll come right out and say that I usually try to ask high dollar for stuff, but I also believe if some one shows up with cash and passion - I'll take less.

Wonky electrical

So my odometer stopped working and alot of other stuff went crazy: flashing CHECK light is off(not complaining), high beams come on randomly, gas light doesn't come on, and fans for heater don't come on. I checked the fuses and they looked okay? Any suggestions?
