This thread has been awfully quiet, lately. What have you kids been up to?

Did my first "real" maintenance job on the M coupe today. Starter went tits up yesterday and almost left me stranded. I decided to change it, rather than pop starting it everywhere I went.

I know. Living life on the edge, isn't as fun as it used to be, at least, not for me.

Looking to do a full exhaust on the 318is/s52. Do I just buy the parts I want then show up at a exhaust shop? Not sure what to do.

You'd probably want to call ahead and let them know what you're looking for.

Yeah, that way you can use mandrel bent vs crush bent. Call and talk to them first, some shops wont do it or might now warranty the work

Ok so find a shop and talk to them. Didn't know if exhaust shops get butt hurt if you bring in your own parts. Also one of mounts for the muffler needs to be fixed.

                      Thanks

I've seen the work Brad's guy does - not bad and seems to be priced really well!

We have had incredible work done by Stan's Headers out in Auburn - I highly recommend them if you want a very clean looking exhaust. They've helped out with everything from classic Thunderbirds to Rat Rod 2002s for us. Exhaust shops seem to be more lax about supplying your own parts imo.
