As for a 5-speed swap...have some r3v guys come and help. I have basically everything you need to swap, including a rebuilt trans. PM me if you're interested.

Hey guys, it seems that my shifter assembly is making some funky ass noises. For example, when I am selecting a gear, I get a very annoying squeaking noise when I get it into the desired gear. And when the car is under load (say in 2nd gear) it'll make the noise, but constantly?

It's annoying as FCUK!? Anyone have any ideas? Sorry my description sucks. The noise reminds me of a squeaky hinge

Sounds like you need to grease your shifter bushings.
