I don't know what you got but if you have solid lifters, they'll make more noise once they have the proper clearance. My M10 did the same thing.

Carls IX has a M20. But keep in mind its a IX so the set up is different. What did you do to resolve the problem Adam?

I didn't. That's just how solid lifters sound. It should sound like a bunch of sewing machines.

So im just gonna pull off the head and tear it down and then start collecting parts (buying new ones) to do a full rebuild like I wanted to in the first place. It's just gonna take a lot longer, but hey at least I can find that oil leak, and whatever is leaking on the under my peddles.....
