Spent the weekend tearing down/rebuilding a spare passenger side iX axle I had in the shop.
Never done one before but it was actually pretty fun. The more I do work like that the more I realize how bad my OCD is getting. When it was all said and done I think the axle was so beautiful I'm not even sure I want to install it to get it dirty again! Either way looks like I will be driving the iX FOR SURE for Oktoberfest. Was worried I'd have to catch a ride with someone!
Tearing down a spare driver side axle out of the red iX, rebuilding it than both front axle will get replaced at the same time. Simon when your box is done I want to hear it! Thinking I want to go that route but not sure how I feel about the port holes. I think I'd get used to it!clutchCTRL!Move with a purpose.- 1991 325iX 4dr/5spd- 1976 2002 SlickTop/2.7i M20/G260- 2000 323i AT2016 Mazda CX3 Sport AWD

In other news, had my machine shop guy take a look at the block I had...
Long story short, I think i'm looking for a running M20B27 (again :() Should've listened to you guys when you said to avoid the shitty 200.00 engine my cousin had for me. Typical young man type shit, didn't listen, now i'm paying the price.
Also considering M50's, although I don't know much about them or what it takes to do the swap. Again, this is for the 87 Coupe I have. I still have yet to pull the head off the engine that is currently in the car. It's got a gnarly knocking sound. Fuck, decisions decisions.clutchCTRL!Move with a purpose.- 1991 325iX 4dr/5spd- 1976 2002 SlickTop/2.7i M20/G260- 2000 323i AT2016 Mazda CX3 Sport AWD

Price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. I repeat: price check on Vagiclean, aisle five. That's Vagiclean. We've got a customer down here with a full-on fallopian fungus. I'm baking a loaf of bread and I think it's sourdough.

I got your pm thanks Simon. I'm tinkering around today with my E30s. Anyone want to swing by and hang out?
