Nope, actually a funny story how I got it. Been chasing a particular E34 for years (more on that later,) finally was given a chance to buy it, so i went and placed a deposit on it and was leaving the house where it was and saw the E30 on the next block. Went and asked if they were interested in selling it, which they were, and actually had just talked about getting rid of it that morning!

I am so indecisive on what to do. Part of me says to sell it or part it, the other part of me says it would be a perfect winter car and to just hold on to it for a while and do the little maintenance and sell it in spring.

I sympathize with the parts availability. When I worked at Chevy, stuff was discontinued after only a few years. Not to mention the part number supersession. I found countless parts, less than a year old that had changed numbers 4 or 5 times! Crazy shit.

Go to Audi and order a part for an old Quattro, odds are the parts guy does not even know what that is

I cleaned it and packed it with fresh grease and its good to go. Just need to hook up every thing and hopefully I can drive it this weekend.

Wow. Been away with summer fun.

Starting to come around again with the idea that I still love the iX idea, but just not this iX. Maybe not an iX at all. I have a truck for those slippery moments. Maybe it's time to go back to RWD. That suits my motorhead upbringing a lot better, considering the engine-swap possibilities. In the moments where this iX has lately been able to grab its balls and scream down the road, I'm only reminded that faster is better, and this car is limited.

...and that tcase chain slap is freaking me the hell out.

Time to start looking again.
