        There is a long thread on it somewhere in the general discussion forum ill try to dig it up, but the hilight I remember reading from it was.....

        that apparently BMW build there sedans first and then their coupes in there design process which I believe happened with the E36 and E46 but wasn't the case with the E30 and something about how the sedans were built caused some sagging not much, but otherwise the chassis are both identical.

                    I'm not quite sure. I asked James why he didn't use a sedan for his pro3 car and he said that the cage is harder to build for a sedan, thus making it more expensive.

                          Yes, comfort seats were the worst design for bmw in the 80's, and 90's.
