924's? Are you looking for daily or fun car. They are spendy to keep running, and not the most reliable things. I have worked on a few (though that was back in the mid 90's..)

make sure you get the best running and lowest mileage example you can find.

Bad design and prone to expensive repairs.

Those are the shittiest Porsches .EVER. It has the EA831 VW/Audi motor that is THE biggest piece of shit VW ever made. Although, the tranny housing on the 924 is adaptable to any Audi motor you can squeeze into the engine bay. Save more and buy a 944 or something better if you have to have a Porsche.

I don't see why not. You'll have to change the speed sensor.

One of the owner's kids has an '06 LS2/6 spd. So far I've installed two clutches and had to rebuild the engine because shards of broken ceramic cam follower lodged in the oil bypass toasting the crank journals.

As much as I loath GM products I must admit that it's a kick in the pants to drive.

I've read many times that it is a straight swap.

Have any of you ever had problems with the dust caps on the front hubs being uneven? I have bought a couple new ones now, and when you look at them up close one side of the outer edge is definitely wider. Once installed, it makes bolting on machined products (spacers/adapters) impossible without tearing shit up.

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this
