              I would love to be able to shell out the bucks and have someone do it but sadly I can't. And its not that I am unable to do the work. I just don't want to.

                    driveshaft collar nut, how do I loosen it without a pipe wrench? also does being off 1 thread matter at the csb?

                      Channel locks work well, I used them both times I did that job.

                        I dont remember there being a locking collar. It should just be splines.

                            It's the part where the front driveshaft slides into the rear. That round nut/splines won't f*cking turn & I used a damn pipe wrench on it. Should I roast it?

                            I would check that, because I have yet to see any of the three I have been around to come loose just by hand turning.

                              I am still completely lost. what does it lock together? I have no recollection of a nut. All I did was slide the two drive shafts together with the splines. There where no threads.
