              That was exactly what I needed, a good laugh (>°_°)>

              Vice got the collar loose and now I can relax knowing I don't have to lay under the car until it turns on.

                Thinking of selling my car to buy an E24...may have a feeler ad up tonight.

                Car I want is an '81 635csi. Lots of super rare Euro goodies (headrests, sunshade, real Recaros, etc.) Alpinweis on schwarz leder.

                          Damn, was leaving for class tonight and the 30 wouldn't start

                          First I tried to jump the FPR, no luck. Pulled fuel line and jumped FPR and loads of gas came out, so that is all good.

                          Checked my injector harness, thats all good too.

                          Didn't check spark, but I dont see why I wouldn't have it. Also checked out the CPS plug, all good too.

                          I came to the conclusion that my car was exhibiting that "intermittent" starting problem (where it cranks fine but just wont turn over). I think I flooded it by jumping the FPR... hopefully she will start when I get home in 3 hours :/

                            Have you replaced your FPR? Check for spark. Sounds like your plugs are fouled

                              Yes I did get a new relay, and the car runs fine. However I still cannot hear the pump turn on with the new relay in place (like I can jumping the FPR)

                              Im going to check for spark if it wont start when I get home, I will just grab a plug from something in the garage and try it.

                                FPR = fuel pressure regulator...

                                I'm not Referring to the relay.. If your FPR is bad, it could be causing fuel to leak past the diaphragm and foul your plugs.

                                Try cleaning the plugs with carb or brake cleaner and
                                Letting them air dry
