You have to be smart enough to find mainstream beers in mainstream grocery store. IE. Pabst, Miller, Rainier in your local Safeway, Albertsons, or QFC. Its out there bro and its a magical brew.

Mainstream? I had never heard of it until I moved to Portland last month. Even then it took me 3 weeks of being here.

Yeah. Pretty entry level beer here in Seattle.

It's basically PBR by a different name. We have 4 tall boys in my fridge right now actually. Blegh, not a tasty beer. I'd rather drink Milwaukee's Best.

Rainier aka vitamin R bottles are definitely still available and awesome. Under each cap they have a picture word puzzle. Not that many places carry them anymore but, they should. More common at bars than at the store.

In other news, I gotta replace my starter today, yay....

LSx can be a lot of different motors, so that's a tough question. I think that a 280hp (Camaro) LS1 like the original LS1 E30 is probably a hoot to drive, I think the 350hp (Corvette) LS1 is pretty wild, and I think that a 400HP LS2 would be wild. I'll say that in the 450HP range where I'm at, you could easily classify it as too much. I got rid of my CTS Coupe because the e30 was just as good, if not better at getting groceries and road trips and whatnot, but if you're note a controlled driver, it can get away from you really quickly and you can put yourself and your ride into a LOT of danger.

For most-anybody I'd advocate an S50 (e36 M3, right?), or maybe ls1. Especially since it costs a quarter as much (or less) to do and is better documented.
