    Until this the motor looked in great shape, aside from leaks. The cross-hatching it still very pronounced;

                                    I'm just going to try and find another eta motor to drop in. If it didn't require an ecu swap or a couple extra grand I don't have lying around I'd think about motor swapping it now but as it sits I only have about half the parts for an LSx swap and no spare cash to buy it all up quickly. Such is life! This is my daily at this point so I need to get it back on the road quickly. However, I can take this time to do some of the stuff I've been putting off; guibo, csb, shifter rebuild, etc.

                                            Couldn't you source the M50/M20B25 parts fairly quickly?

                                            Reminds me of the M20-E engine I pulled before my swap, accept it had like 6-9 valve-heads broken off.

                                                Maybe? Honestly, other than the few '885 FS' threads here in the NW section I hadn't priced out an I head swap at all.

                                                Sad thing is, this contitech tbelt probably had at most 40k on it.
