Unfortunately I'm in San Francisco and the car is in PDX so I can't say. I just hope that it works better than what was in the crashed car, the tunnel got toooooooasty when I was having fun in that guy.Alpha Team Inductee

Sounds good, when next I make it up there I'll make sure to drop a line. In the city I've got some bikes and the corvair but no BMWs sadly. My neighbor just bought an S54-powered e30 vert though, I do believe. And if my garage disappears in Portland, I may be selling the Corvair and bringing the e30 down here.Alpha Team Inductee

got a nice package from blunt today! if its nice tomorrow Im going to replace the E28s selector rod seal, swap to a late model shift arm (with 545 lever and delrin upgrades), replace my terribly worn csb and guibo, and upgrade to OE BMW E21 trans mounts.
Also, I got my hands on some Redline MTL fluid. I am hoping it solves my "crunchy" synchros on cold mornings.
any tips from the pros?Comment

If my e30 moves down here it will be that much harder to visit the PNW though :-/

Is my heater core bad?
Thermostat is new; been bleeding the system like crazy and I get heat until I get on the pedal and around 45secs. to a 1min. later my heat disappears and the air goes cold.
Bentley isn't turning anything up or I'm just not finding things in the right spot. Any clues?Originally posted by James Crivellone1) The internet is NOT serious business.Comment

I recovered a set of seats for a local fella this week. He got a set of covers off eBay (pretty sure that's where they came from) and I installed them. For the price, it wasn't a bad deal. Spent probably ~12 hours making them fit as well as they can. Not impressed with the headrest fitment, but it is what it is.'70 911s | '72 2002 | '88 M5 | '89 330is | '89 M3 | '95 911 | '02 M5 | '04 RR HSE

If you want to make the trip into Portland and grab it, I'll sell you mine from the Death Machine. It's at Superior Performance, I'll just need to give them a call and let them know that you're coming.Alpha Team Inductee

I fucking hate people. I was just at the junkyard and there was a 318is that I wanted to pull the driveshaft from. It was brand new. Like, it still have the paper sticker from NW Drivelines instructing how to put it in. Someone decided they wanted the diff and sawzall'd through the back half of the driveline to get the diff out. And then left the yoke they cut off in the trunk! Why not just undo the bolts before cutting the fucker out?!84 325e - 91 325i - 92 318 touring - 91 Trans Am - 01 S4 avant - 03 S-type R - 96 F350 - 15 SS - 84 Biturbo - 91 Defender

I appreciate the offer, but it'd be over an hour round trip for me there and I won't have the time. I was hoping to find one closer or anyone willing to ship'84 Alpine 325e (Gone)
