None of those will fit between the spare tire well and gas tank - The Vibrant mufflers in that shape are all about 9" wide - too wide to fit in the space I want.

I wish it was as easy as just saying, "go with this" - there are clearance issues man!

          ... lol

I'll probably pick up a Vibrant 2.5" single inlet/outlet ROUND muffler than just add a dual tip exhaust tip at the back. I'm just glad to be onto the next chapter, feels good man.

I need to find a good muffler with dual tips that will fit between the tank and the spare tire well, havn't found anything yet. Couldn't wait to drive it though!

Got the cooling system done and bled. Monitored temps with my Autometer Temp Gauge, sitting pretty and my Spal Pusher Fan is doing it's job when it's needed. Backed it into the center of the garage and drank a beer. Garage is a complete mess right now but my soul is smiling. I forgot how small these cars are since mine has been on jackstands for way too long!
                  FUCK YES!!

                    Thanks, Brad.

Still got a lot of tidying up to do, the project is far from done, but at this point it's a driving project.

That's the plan, going to wait till it starts getting warmer though! iX still has my heart and ballsack.

Brad, don't doubt this. You will be one of the first guys to see it on the road. Remember this block came out of the E30 you swapped an M30 into.

Timeline of the 2002 build - Bought my first E30 325e, sold it to by my iX, bought the 325e back shortly thereafter with a blown engine, bought Brad's M20 out of a 325e - built it up with a 325iX head I had lying around, new clutch, etc. etc. - Installed, running, could not get it into gear - Ryan, Austin, Will, (Corey? Brad? - I want to say you guys were there) came in on a moments notice from a cry for help on this board - I pulled the trans off, and installed the correct TOB (E21 323i) and the boys helped me heave it into place. All good! - Got ahold of the 2002 for free and decided to install the 2.7i into my 2002. Slow Forward to about 2 years later, after a ton of headache, way too much time thinking about the car at work and in bed, moving from Seattle to Bothell - i'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Is it ever really done though?
