Have rode in it. Can confirm near death experience. There was also no passenger side seat when I went for a drive. I don't think we had traction once on the entire drive.

It's pretty damn fun. But God is it a hot mess. Thing needs so much work. My roommate lost the key so I have to put a new ignition in it. The hood latch also snapped the last time I tried to open it. So I'll probably have to slap it on with hood pins. Oh well. It's basically a racecar, basicaly...

      Also it is a deathtrap.

What is wrong with the M3, and why is it so dangerous?

J&M Machine. My sisters husband is a huge nut and his family has been using them for years. They do it right.

Busy moving, damnit! life goes on, and the cars are still there so I guess life is getting better.

Still looking for a decent early coupe, with a bad engine for cheap

Outdated seats, an iffy cage, 4 point harnesses, a fg wide body and a turbo m50. It's a blast to drive but theres a lot of overall jankiness. We're trying hard to buckle it down a bit

Glad to hear this about C&D. They have my spare block to bore it out for a 2.9. Also having them check all the whirlybits for straightness and balancing. Might just have them assemble the thing while they're at it.

They seem really familiar with BMW engines, which is reassuring.

So is it j&m or c&d? Lol

Never heard of J and M. I know C and D has done numerous M20 jobs for us. From mild customer cars to many of the local pro3 guys (us included).

I can't say enough about them. Happy to hear them coming up here!

Anyone have an m50 throttle body laying around?

I talked to toes and he might have one for me, I'll drop you a PM if I need it.

I've been digging into this 24v swap I have and it's actually not gonna take much to get it running. I only need to source that throttle body and have someone fab up an exhaust.

Any recommendations? I'm trying to keep this car as light as possible. Right down to the exhaust. How much should I expect to pay for an aluminum exhaust post header
