Well... Was the iX towed away on a flat bed? If not, just cut your losses and move on.

Dude pretty much hit it on the head, with these cars getting more popular the last place you want one that's been "modified" or a "rare e30" is the tow yard.

My car was booted at one point and I had 48 hours to come up with the cash to get it off. I did ALL I COULD and stressed out so badly, luckily the car was in front of my house when it was disabled so I could keep an eye on it, I DID NOT WANT IT GETTING TOWED TO THE YARD, so I did everything I could to make sure that didn't happen.

543.00 seemed like alot to get it off but when you consider the risk of having some DB tow your iX (improperly), towing fees, storage fees, as well as not knowing who will be touching your car, I just was not going to let that happen. Sorry to get off-topic, just saying I was almost in your position. : /

yar. But Washington is wierd in that about the only person that can claim an 'abandoned'
car is a tow truck driver.
