If you cannot fix it yourself why did you buy it?

I can fix it myself, It would just take a decent amount of time on my own. Was really hoping it was just a HG, but now I'm leaning towards a warped head with the compression test I got.

A warped head is not a big deal. $50 and that's solved. Cracked head is another story.

Any hack can just throw a HG on an overheated motor and call it a day without doing any machine work, but that's not going to solve your issues.

                This tends to happen often

Unfortunately. Can't tell you how many times I've seen it happen working at the machine shop. Most people don't understand what happens to metal when it gets hot.

Possibly selling my current engine plus driveline in the near future.

Some one give him 1k and bail him out of his mistake.

Seriously everything he needs is 15 mins away got some good boge struts less than 10k all around, 318is springs and an 318is exhaust no headers pull the icv and afm and those a clean. Wrenching on the M42 is fun. Retarded how much a spectale this is

No he needs to man up and make it his own. Could 24v it for around a grand.

                          Ugh.

If I owned the car in that picture, I'd sell the wheels, then set it on fire.

                          Again.

                          Zing!
