Unfortunately, I have dealt with theft issues, they even lifted prints and never heard anything. Someone went in the back yard of my old shop and stole a big block Chevy out of a G-Body we were building headers on. That was a mess, specially since it was sent to us by another shop just for the headers.
Van Westervelt, their is a junkyard up here that has a 87 4 door in their yard that has a good hood, and doors on it. PM me, and I'll give you a hand.
I'd be willing to bet, us, as a community, have enough parts lying around, we could get his car back to a runner/driver in no time, just from donated parts....
That is some shit. No fucking wonder it showed up in Vancouver... Good to hear that the car is found, if only because that's one step closer to the motherfuckers that disemboweled it.
* It's fucking disgusting to think that somebody probably followed Curt's build right here on r3v, and waited until just before the payoff from all his hard work to swoop in and snatch it.

Reason: FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
I am in utter shock and disbelief. This is why I am constantly battling with myself if I should even update my build thread or let people know what's going on with my car.
I'm guessing the "good" parts were swapped onto another E30 than quickly sold. I have a feeling someone here know's something and isn't saying shit. Such shady shit. The community is pretty damn tight out here. Hoping we can find some answers.
Even if it was left in the parking lot of a yard, no way to trace who dropped it. Either way, they are obviously dumb thieves to just leave the shell somewhere, and will get caught, just hopefully red-handed on this job.
