Thanks guys, i can't wait to bring it home and start work on those door handles. Removing the alarm and the 'door poppers' as they're called will be pri1. If i can get that done and new handles, lock cylinders and chambers installed along with the bondo scraped off and painted, i should be able to make it to the picnic with the car.

The door handle delete is a minor annoyance. Thank the lord that the S14 is still in. Removing an S14 just because you don't want to deal with an S14 is who should be slapped.

Aww yeah! You'll enjoy driving through Idaho, 80 MPH speed limits and as long as you're not running Oregon, Washington, or Colorado plates the cops don't hassle you on the freeway.

If you're near boise and need anything let me know! Congrats on the purchase, can't wait to see what you do with it.

Nice pickup, just a suggestion prior to taking off might be worth swinging by somewhere and having the fluids changed and all the chassis driveline point lubed. Ask me how I know.. Front u-joint went out on the drive from Denver to Seattle in a D-90

And make sure things like the gas gauge are reading properly before you set off :-) Congrats on the new car!

I should have bought one 5 years ago...but I'll be moving to Germany in 2 years so I guess my options will be a little better in the manufacturing country
