i have owned my M42 cabrio for 10 years. we will never sell it. it rides on OEM E30 M3 springs. i've turned every maintenance and modding bolt on this car. if you want me to help you look at any cabrios on the pdx area I'll be happy to go with you.

I just pm'ed you..... have a car that i was going to daily drive, but got an e36 instead while my real e30 project gets worked on.

my suggestion to you is this. if you have a $5000 budget, start looking in CA CL's, find a car, contact a local r3v member and have them look at the car, take some of that $5k and buy a one way ticket down and drive it back. the chances of finding a cheap e30 with decent mileage is far greater down there as there are so many more bmws per capita in CA.
