Looking for a recommendation for a top notch honest experienced E30 shop that can work on my dad's 1991 90k mile 318i. They are located in the Boyton Beach area - he would go as far south as Ft. Lauderdale. My folks are looking to take a 1 month long road trip from FL to DC to IL and back and really want to be sure that someone experienced can really do a good job checking the car and taking care of all preventive maintenance - maintenance ideas/suggestions are welcome.

I can recommend WOT-tech in Pompano, not a big fancy shop, but good people who won't pull the wool over your eyes and they know E30s. John, the owner of the shop, is on this forum; username forcedfirebird

I can reccommend Road and Race in West Palm Beach. Suspension, engine rebuild, custom fabrication, a/c, etc. and it's not as far. Shop owner Peter, is a BMWCCA member and is the best. Call 561-845-6640. Give him a try.

I got a lead on a 92 vert / M42 / Black / tan / 5 speed / bottlecaps for sale. I do not know the mileage. He did mention some rust. Needs vert top rear window. Seller says car runs like a top. ??????? but needs some TLC. Any interest let me know I will forward the info.
