Robert what is a trip to the stupid beach when you can play in the mountains. I lived in Myrtle Beach when I was a kid. You aren't missing nothing come to the mountains.

I've already paid for the beach trip so I cannot back out. My beach trip is Aug. 28th-Sept. 5th. No way I can take off that much time on consecutive weeks / weekends if it is in mid August. That date isn't even past Labor Day.

Plus, like I said before, it will still be summer regardless of altitude it will not be that much cooler as a matter of fact it will probably still be in the 90's in mid August and the leaves won't even be close to changing color which makes it a whole different experience than driving through in the spring / summer, just look at the past fall rally pictures. The best time to go is in mid Oct. when the all the leaves have just turned.

Fall camping is much different than summer camping and really I don't want to do the same thing twice.

I would like to do another meet soon as well , but I am in agreeance with robert , I like the mountains in the spring and fall , summer is for beach and shit. lol , maybe something closer to us would be cool , but not sure what . any other suggestions?

What's up? It's the E46 party crasher checking in. Late check-in but I'm back. The threads posted with the picts are great. I am currently downloading mine and will get them posted. Wish I could make the proposed August meet, but I will be in Yuma, AZ. I plan to catch up with you all again when the Corps doesn't call me to go other places.

Hey John, we will likely still be doing an October rally... Some of us are just bored and love the mtns so we may do an August get together just for fun......:)
