I've been past it a few times on the way to the Hoagie Factory, but I'm not much of a gun person. Shot some in Boy Scouts, but that was about it.

Does anyone know a guy named Roman from South Philly with a shop around Front and Oregon called something like "R Motors"?

I was driving the e30 to get some Thai food the other night and chatted with him at a light. He said he has an '87 325is and his shop is word-of-mouth only. He seems like he could be a good connection to make, but I can't find him online.

I ended up finding him and got to check out his shop. He's got a ton of cool old cars he's working on, some for himself and some for customers. I'm sure he'd take on new work if you have a cool car/motorcycle and are looking for a new mechanic in South Philly.

Yeah, I live up near Manayunk, and I think McGyver is down in south philly. I'd be down to meet wherever around Philly. You have to register, but it's free. And if you register and don't show, they don't care. They just do it to get your contact info, and hire the right amount of police/volunteers to direct people.

The show is from 7:30-noon and you have to register for an entry timeslot:

• 7:30-8:00
• 8:00-8:30
• 830:-9:00
• 9:00-9:30
• 9:30-10:00

If we were to meet in East Falls or Bala Cynwyd, it would be 45min-1hr drive out to C&C. I'd be down to meet just before 7:30 so we can get there for the 8:30-9:00 entry. I'm also open to other meeting points and suggestions on the driving route.

Would love to man, but my E30 is in pieces right now for timing belt replacement, giubo replacement and diff swap LOL. It'll maybe be ready for some November leaf peeping or Spring driving!

One fun route I can recommend is to drive on Conestoga Rd from Haverford Rd all the way to Cassatt Rd. Hilly, curvy, wooded, not a lot of stop lights or much traffic usually.

I'm good with that time. My plan was to leave the meet around 10 as I have work to do in the afternoon. That works perfect though if we are getting there 8:30-9. Enough time to talk and check out some other cars while we are there.

I don't have any good routes getting there. I usually just take the boring way up I-76 West and 202 South since there is usually no traffic that early on Sunday mornings. I am open to that route Aleman suggested, if we are meeting around bala cynwyd or east falls.

Also, latest update. I thought I had my clutch issue resolved, but it got worse again. Got back to a point where I can't drive it. So I'm guessing there is a leak somewhere that I have noit been able to identify. I'm going to dig into it more this week and hopefully get it "drivable" for the weekend. Even if it means just bleeding it and letting it leak slowly. I will definitely check back in later this week though.
