Filmed today's auto-x, got a fun run w/ passenger and my fastest run in the video. Lots of laughs in the first run.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bR7kL6oRBY

Let the E23 build begin!
I'll be slowly boosting the BMW E23 735i and instead of doing a traditional build thread thought I would do it in a series of videos instead. Planning on weekly videos of the process of going from 100% original to turbocharged. Each video will be very different in format and this one is already copyright claimed but I expected that lol...

I'd love to see a video series on the e23. Once I get the ix 100% sorted out and can start my actual build (and not just fixing stuff that breaks) I want to do a video series on it.My Garage

yes putting it on the b34, the M30's take quite well to boost, and this setup was removed from an M30 partout that ran very well
Going extremely basic for the motor, TCD is burning me the chip still, picked up a used Begi for well under $200, I have a used set of 30lb injectors, and then just the 745i manifold and turbo.
Going very 80's technology, nothing fancy just quick bolt on's. Honestly on a car of this age and size, going all power crazy is not worth it. Parts are very hard to find for this era of 7 series. Its not like my E30 were if something breaks I can just go on a forum and grab a new part. A lot of parts are NLA or just plain difficult to locate.
Total cost is under $1000 for a turbo conversion as I went used on every single part except the chip.Last edited by kamotors; 05-12-2016, 05:21 PM.
