I'm gauging interest for a dry carbon fiber hood for our cars. Is there enough of a demand here? I can get specs if people are interested. It would a 20% deposit to get the ball rolling and pricing is unofficially $1400. Would need at least 5 people to get this off the ground

Usually real carbon non CFRP is just as rigid as the steel hoods.
hows the fit and vent options?
Where do they ship from?Comment

How much lighter would it be than my DTM Fiberwerkz CFRP hood? Would be interested in vent options as well.Comment

From the work they've done with the FRS/BRZ/WRX CF panels I'd say fitment is spot on. They are based out of Ohio.
They haven't officially speced a weight but their dry carbon hood cut the weight of an aluminum FRS hood by half.
Not sure how much the DTM CF hood weight so I can't say Digitalwave
If the vented hood is the preferred direction I'll pursue that route.Comment

Having just spent a lot on my DTM hood, and then many hours making it fit halfway decent, I'm probably out on this unless there is a crazy compelling reason

Whats the status?
My hood is faded, dented, and pre-drilled for shoddy hood pins.
Whats is the non GB Price?

1400 is cheap for an actual carbon fiber hood. Any pricing for one offs?
