      At $949 are these headers really worth it? Is there anything else that fits without modification?

        I'd still like to know what the actual difference is between these and the "regular" e36 shorty headers!

        Don't the regular ones fit in the e30?

          I called Turner a while ago because the images on their web site indicate that both sets of headers are identical. They said that the headers are indeed different - the swap shorty's terminate in a different location than the E36 units. I guess they were too lazy to take pics of the E36 headers

            Good info.

            So, if I currently have OBD2 headers with no clearance issues I should get the regular headers, because the modified e30 ones probably WOULDN'T fit?

              The euro headers have HUGE ports compared to the us exhaust ports on the cylinder head, if I'm not mistaken they were a bit larger or just as large as the gasket holes.

              If I didn't have my headers bolted up already I would show you side by side comparison of euro headers and obd2 manifolds.

                Allrighty then, time to find my TIG welder and modify my original ones.
                It's a lot of work to get it 100%... and 100% is necessary ;) But I give it a try...
