Ok,
Do you have any pics of your exhaust setup in other threads? I might go this route, sounds like it would make more Horsepower and better sound.
Where would the O2 sensor plug in?

Were they the same as the SS reps or did they have $1000 quality?
I'm also seriously considering the CARR shorty headers. The M54 is a strong low and mid range motor so these might suite me well..

With the pipes just butting together in a straight cut like that, it doesn't matter much if they're short or long. most of the velocity is lost with the large void area in the center where the primaries join together. you basically lose any scavenging benefit a good header would provide.Comment

Wow. Some of you are spending more on headers than I've spent on my entire M50 swap! I might just use the stock E36 manifolds/downpipes and have it welded into my E30 exhaust and let it rattle-fart until I can afford a better exhaust system lol
