I think it's said that the G260 and 3.73 is about the same as the ZF and 3.25 from an M3, and the 3.73s are quite common.

Alright. About 5k miles later I missed a shift going from 2nd to 3rd. I didn't see exactly how high the rpms got, but it looked like around 7k. The remaining drive straps were bent. This was a 618.

yeah me neither. drifting 3.5years on a s25. i've had to rebuild the engine twice in that time period. same sach's clutch (e36m).
