    I think it's said that the G260 and 3.73 is about the same as the ZF and 3.25 from an M3, and the 3.73s are quite common.

      The 618 is on the car now with about 20 miles so far. It isn't broken yet.

        Alright. About 5k miles later I missed a shift going from 2nd to 3rd. I didn't see exactly how high the rpms got, but it looked like around 7k. The remaining drive straps were bent. This was a 618.

          Here's how mine failed. New, stock Sachs PP and clutch disc. M54 engine, 220ft-lbs torque. Some 1/4 mile passes.

          I replaced it with a Clutchmaster FX100 and I've been really happy with that.

              I dont get how you guys keep doing this. i beat the F out of all my cars and all my customers swap cars with no issue and i redline lift all the time.

                yeah me neither. drifting 3.5years on a s25. i've had to rebuild the engine twice in that time period. same sach's clutch (e36m).
