Did they install them? Charge your system? Or just build the hoses?

My local shop wants $220 for custom lines, install, and system recharged. Just haven't had the time to take it to the shop.

Also, you can buy custom AC lines from Zionsvilleauto for $249

E30 lines, no welding, no fiddling. If you had the Seiko Seiki R134a retrofit compressor, those lines will not work.

They built them installed them. I think they vacuumed my system. But I took it all apart after to install the good pump and all the new r134 shit

Sooooo....is anyone going to get into which refrigerant they used with the m50 compressors?

I've got lines sorted, i don't think my car was ever converted to r134a. Anyone know if it would be ok to run freeze12 through the m50 compressor?

What is the weight capacity of R134a needed for the S50 Denso 10PA17C compressor combined with E30 components? (i.e. E30 condenser, expansion valve, dryer, evaporator, etc.)

I was thinking 1000g or 36 oz? Approx 3 cans

And what oil viscosity did you guys use? 46???

Anyone know anything about wiring for the compressor and such? Idle bump for the ECU etc?

I just plugged it in. No changes needed. As for the idle bump, I can tell you that the info is on this forum because I found it, but I can't recall the location.

My recommendation is to run a wire out to the harness connector, though, as this avoids the risk of hacking up the harness.
