Going to have to count me out :(.. The e30 needs a lot of attention right now which leads me to spending my non-existent money elsewhere

I am waiting on Rob to see when he can fit these in to the production schedule, but it looks like we can have them about two weeks after when we order. I will PM errbody who has expressed interest when he gives me the OK.

cmybimmer, no worries, he's created a SKU for it so you should probably be able to order one any time.

I would buy it if I had the money but halfway through a turbo project isnt the time, Would love to feel the improvement in the shifter.

Definite +1 on the order right here. This is a great product, tailor made for my exact need. No brainer.

You could probably put me down for two, as I would have an extra for a swap down the road. Or, sell to a member that wasn't here to get one when this is running.

                    dssr

                    ..just saw this!..

...had spoken to Rob about this a few mos ago...he just needed to know the length of my sel rod, as they vary on these set ups it seems.

Im very intrstd... I have a z3 1.9 set up...and still my lateral movt is waaay to much for a track car...

time frame?...oops I see you say 2 weeks....

how will this be done?... Im wondering if the same TWIST to every DSSR will work on every 26o set up?...Im assuming every1 gets the same "twist"...

I don't want to be a narc or whatever, because I think that a UUC 'swap rod' would be awesome.

I was in a position where not long ago where these weren't available. So I made my own.
We run a full engineering business and I made up 5 because the difference to NC machine 5 versus 1 was minimal.

Anyway, I made these to suit the G260 'box and AKG DTM shifter. The angle of twist is 10 degrees.

In this pic, L - R = my linkage (aka the BSSR - burkey super swap rod), the prototype to get the angle and length right and my old UUC one from my old M20.

These are made out of EN36 high tensile steel. This is tough, hardened tool steel. I haven't plated the other 4 but they will be yellow zinc plated if needed.

I also made up a bunch of 316SS connecting pins.

Not cutting anyones lunch, but I have 4 here as of right now :)

If only UUC Rob made these 6 months ago I could have saved myself so much time!
