    Have a 24V swap with a G260? Want a DSSR?

This is a cross-post but I'm surprised at the lack of feedback here.

Basically, UUC can make "twisted" DSSRs that would give an improved shift feel and keep the ahifter in the right position for the 24v/g260 swap. I thought there would be a good bit of interest in a group buy but there have only been one or two bites since I posted in general. This is a second attempt to garner some sort of interest for a group buy at about $120 shipped if we get 25 people. Show me some love.

    Wheelhop,

I'd be interested in the idea, but honestly not for that price. The total cost into modding mine was maybe $20. I do NOT mean to poop on your thread, but there was an element of wanting feedback to your post.

This is just my $0.02, because I certainly paid a lot more than other people would have for other things, AND I have an exhaust shop right around the corner to weld my setup.

Again, I like the idea, but with the cost of everything else on the swap, that would be just a bit too much for me.

    Your mileage may vary!

You're not thread crapping at all. However, the DSSR isn't really a solution for the shift linkage in the swap, more of a solution for the side-to-side slop still present in the gearshift after all the bushings have been replaced. I modified my selector rod for free just by heating it up--however there is still slop in my linkage. The DSSR gets rid of that.

I am not really vested in this beyond getting one for myself and telling r3v about the possibility, because I really thought there would be more interest. Seems like I was wrong. :p

Color me interested. I twisted my selector rod 10° and it put my shift lever in pretty much the right spot, but I'd like to have a purpose-built kit, as well as LOVING to see that slop go away.

I would be interested for this for sure.

I also would be interested in sending my selector rod to someone for modding, or have someone pm me detailing what exactly needs to be done. HELP! But the UUC DSSR would be a good deal.

I'd get one as I still have the m20 in my car and wouldn't have to bend anything to put my m50 in, let me know.

I'm interested with money ready. Ready to buy today.

I would prefer to pay for them once they are ready to be shipped. Not with UUC directly, but it seems more and more vendors are holding my money for weeks/months before I get the part and unfortunately with what has been happening lately I'm a little apprehensive parting with my money if a shipping date is not guaranteed up front.

This is a great deal. I bought a DSSR for that price and had it cut and rewelded at an angle for another $20. This will definitely save people money!

If I was keeping the m50 in my car I'd be down. Great price for a great product... Too bad it's 3 years too late for me!

I wasn't aware this product existed (dssr). Count me in as interested.
