Couple people have asked me about my "BSSR"
It is 195mm long, not the 187mm length you'd expect for a G260 and cast shift carrier setup.
BSSR definitely only works for AKG DTM shifter

I'm getting annoyed. I ordered mine on 5/28/12! Still back ordered. I wonder if they are even going to make more of them.
Called today and after 10 minutes of shitty hold music I gave up. I'll have to try another time.

Edit: they called me back and said "parts are in stock, I don't know why it didn't ship yet, we'll call you back"

That makes sense, I have 187mm and it is slightly too short. Seems like the extra 7mm would do the trick.

I ordered one in April and got a non twisted one. As of today I never got a twisted one yet. I ordered one from AKG and twisted it myself.

I placed an order for one about a month before the E30 picnic. The status of these DSSR's was "in stock" at the time of the order.

Got about a week before the picnic when I realized that my DSSR hadn't arrived, so I called to check my order status (two days in a row,) got stuck on hold for 25+ min each time and just hung up. Called back the next day and finally spoke to someone who said they had a "machine malfunction," and that they would be shipping out in 7-10 days. I was already so disappointed with the whole deal that I told the representative over the phone to just cancel my order and figured I'd just place it at a later time.

I really do want one of these, as it is the last thing I need for my complete shifter rebuild. I have the EVO3, I have all new bushings...just need the fucking DSSR. I'm not mad, but I was really excited to finally get the last piece of the puzzle and am disappointed how the situation turned out.

Hopefully, someone will chime in and let us know what's really going on.

The more and more I read about UUC the more and more I am disappointed by them, the same thing over and over again.
Problem is they offer such nice products!

I ordered rotors from them and it took a complete 1 month later to recieve them. A one to five day wait time was however noted on their website. (still 25 days late?) Multiple emails were sent to them with no reply, and the ones that were replied took 3+ days to write.

Take it as you will, they offer a good product.

^^^never got a call back, so 9/19 I called again and got Rob....he assured me that they were still on backorder but they would indeed be making them and that it should be a few more weeks.

I wish someone else made these....I'm annoyed at UUC. It's poor form to "sell" a product and not actually have the item available.

                          I ordered back in May....

and recently sent 2 or 3 emails.........asking Rob to step up and be honest , and join this thread. He is usually good w/ these things.

                          But nothing........

......not the way to handle this. Very unlike my experience w/ Rob over many yrs.
I love sitting down and just driving!

So what is the market willing to pay for a 187mm long shift rod with double shear joints and a 10 degree twist made of stainless steel?

UUC charges ~$108 USD when on sale

If you can beat/meet that price I'd be a buyer right away--in fact I'm putting the motor in in about 2 weeks and would love to have a nice new shiny DSSR!

Beat? TBH I'm not interested in being the cheapest in town or killing myself to help out a bunch of tight-asses :)
                                $150, for 10+ units, and you're talking.

You people don't realise the time/cost to strip down an NC mill / lathe for small runs like this make it financially ineffective.

Sell me 100 of them and you can have them for $85
