I guess I've just come to expect dissapointment. there are so many exaggerated claims of power and acceleration you pretty much have to expect it to be not quite as fast as you thought. The truth always hurts a bit; when people go from their imaginary race times (dude I totally just smoked a viper light to light!) and then go to an actual track they don't like what they get because the clock doesn't lie.

I agree with you about m50's, but when you drop in a rebuilt s52 with cams and bolt on's - yes you do it for a fast 1/4 mile time (fast relative to m20 e30 times). 14's in an s52 e30 is NOTHING short of disappointing to me. I understand driver error can have a lot to do with it, but if i'm not running mid to low 13's n/a when my car is done i'll surely be unhappy when it comes to numbers. jmho.

According to Dynolicious I am running in the mid 13's. This is with uncontrolable wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gears and 3.0+ sec 60' times

If I could get some better tiers on my car I know I'd be in the low 14s . I used to drag a lot when I was in high school. These cars are hard to launch I was doing off idle launches. If I could launch at atleast 1500 my et would be a lot lower

That's really good! I ran a 15.5 (see ^^) earlier this year, but it was 90 degrees and I was rollin' on 195's and the track was really slippery.

    I had VANOS M50.
