No the lines connect to a closed system inside the rad exclusive to transmission fluid, its basically piping running thru the the rad to transfer heat from the tranny fluid to the coolant.

You can plug them if you like, but nothing goes through it any more.

Anyone have M50 fan removal advice? The belt keeps slipping on me. Yes I know it's a left hand thread :)

Order these and smile every time they come in handy and you thought you didn't need them before...

That same thin 32mm (IIRC) is quite handy for inner tie rods too. :)

Can you tell that I didn't have these forever and have already found them incredibly awesome to own. There are better options but these are cheap and 100% for what I need. Found on Amazon.

Cool. Will that hold the actual fan clutch? Because holding the water pump isn't going to work because of the belt slippage.

              And what's that tool called?

It's called a fan clutch tool.

And it is amazing. I love mine, every time I look at it, I smile about all the time and frustration it has saved me.

Make sure you put the correct coolant hoses to their correct inlets on the firewall.

You DO NOT want to try and fix them if you installed them backwards, while the engine is in the car, with the intake manifold on.

Engine is in, just a simple swap to a new rad and electric fan conversion.

Guess I should order it. $23 for something I'll almost never use :(
