FWIW I originally had a full e36 M3 exhaust choked into a stock e30 325is muffler. Replacing that muffler (and more importantly the pipes that went into it) really made a difference. It was well worth the trouble and cost in my opinion.

i just bought my S52 :D jaja.. what did i just get myself into!? this thread ftw!
*btw of the ewsII stuff needed, does the ring antenna and "borg" (signal booster) need to be from the same car too? i might not have access to one of them but i have the rest. i'll do obdI later but please some info on this appreciated.No more e30s for me.

key, ews2 module and dme all have to be from the same car. ring and borg dont register vin #, doesnt matter if its from a different car. cheers, jason
