If I get some wide enough rubber, I should be able to hang for a while. :)
In my neighborhood, a 450HP VR-4 beating a 600HP Supra most of the time because of traction take off issues
I have an s50 and aggressively on 1st and 2nd = bad ET's:)

Well, just thought you guys should know, the motor is going in in about 15 minutes once I get done checking everything and making sure it's all buttoned up.My 2.9L Build!

Remember that an E30 S50 will not go like an E36 or E46 in a clutch-drop drag race. These cars are light, usually have skinnier tires than E36/46, and with the trailing-arm suspension--once the tires do start spinning--they ain't regaining traction! Plus the majority of them have relatively worn-out limited slip units.
However, on a roll (say 40mph or 60mph), traction is not an issue and that's where you will really see the E30 pull away.

My s50 made 217 rwhp w/only a chip but I can't get out of the 14's.
I drive around the water box so no burnout with 205/16 KDW's on light SSRs. Feather the launch at 2200 with just a hint of chirp. Chirp second at 6500.
Trap speed of 96 MPH.
Are you able to dump the clutch?
I bought but haven't installed Euro MAF setup but I don't expect it will be near enough to lose a second.
How much heavier is my ic than your tin tops?

^^ there's no point at walking away from the line, you need to agresively explode like a rocket off it.
in any event this thread has not been very supportive of a 5-6k "personal" investement that i'm about to make. i'm just gathering info (btw s***'s all over the place so hard to get a concrete answer) my main ocncern is the obdII so far since i'm getting everything down to the cluster. rock on i might join the club soonNo more e30s for me.
