Anybody have problems with after market headers being too low? I just got my exhaust welded up, and everything is really low. It's about 2" off the ground low. Ugh!

So I made a bracket that pulled the headers up. It works well, and it's not low clearing anymore.

WTF? how did you make a bracket to "pull" the headers up? The headers are not meant to flex. It's all welded together.
Do your headers have a built in flex pipe or something?

Yah, I know they're not meant to flex. On the NEW piece I had welded I did have a flex pipe put in (not sure why though) but it wasn't flexing at the flex pipe. The pipe was sagging from the piece that connects the 2 headers to make it 1 pipe.I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

Hey what headers do you have? I just found out that one of mine are cracked and I need to either replace or have it welded. But either way I have to take it off, so I figured I would be putting a new one on.I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.
