Another S52 swap... but this time with a newb!

I'm not flaming you for your kill, I'm simply telling you to get some solid numbers so your bench racing can be more accurate. I have a swapped car, I know what they can do; I once pulled on a 911 cabrio but nearly a car length on the highway. I go to the drag strip so I can have some solid numbers to play with and know what mods do what. Get your panties of a bunch dude.

I've hung with a mildly modded Evo IX MR on the freeway from 3rd gear no problem.

From a roll I've beat several mildly modded sti's (Stock turbo) by over a car.

This story is not that hard to believe guys. Good work Jahnaboi!

You know, (to dig up an old problem..) I am actually wondering if the black sensor will work. The reason it will give no reading with just the Brown/Violet wire @ pin 12 of -X20 is because the instrument cluster also provides the ground reference for the sensor via pin 11 of -X20.

If you were to ground the Brown/Green wire on pin 11, and connect pin 12 to the cluster, you would get some sort of signal. Very possible that it could be the same resistance range.

Got around to checking it the other day.... Interestingly, the numbers are the same! ....Except the decimal point is over one.

E30 sender it is. (Luckily it threaded right into an unused plug on my engine, sweet!)

So what. When one car is in powerband and another is not, then of course that can happen. Doesn't mean that roll races mean nothing, especially not in the streets. :neutral:

I second that. Rolls do MEAN A LOT more than what you guys think. Rolling starts are all about top end power. If you don't know shit about the streets then please step off your pedestals. Obviously polak we're on this alone. I gotchu nukkuh!

i say this there is nothing better than street racing. especially if its a highway racing from third till you top out with slight trafic that really shows who got balls and who dont. so jahnaboi dont worry about none bealivers and let them stay on track. If you wanna do a straight line dont take one of the best handeling cars to a strip buy u a drag american queen:hitler:

They do mean a lot to certain people. I know 416stroker spends time on the strip and knows quite a bit about drag racing...but you have to consider day-to-day occurences.

I never post kills here because they turn into thread bashing like this has. :roll:
