Hopefully I don't have any clearance issues. I shouldn't have to to space anything because these were made to fit a stock e36 with stock midpipes. Plus, I'm using a ix/735/750 booster and the fins already have been shaved. =P We'll see how this works out.

Those are knock off headers, i can almost guarantee that there will be fitment issues. :p

I had fitment issues with my SS knock offs. It really sucked sence my whole exaughst system was done at that point too.

Lol. I really hope not because the guy I talked to said that it will bolt up just fine. LOL. We'll see. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, since I'm still doing my rear sub-frame freshen up. Man, so much shit to take out before you actually get the sub-frame out... wack. Lol.

I see. I would see why they had fitment issues. The ones I'm getting are short equal lengths. Hopefully I don't run into any problems.

I put my IE race subframe bushings/IE street urethane tabs/ss braided lines/2.93lsd diff in last night... Man the car feels better and is more happier freeway wise!

Very nice! Those are kind of long gears though, do you like it?

You know, (to dig up an old problem..) I am actually wondering if the black sensor will work. The reason it will give no reading with just the Brown/Violet wire @ pin 12 of -X20 is because the instrument cluster also provides the ground reference for the sensor via pin 11 of -X20.

If you were to ground the Brown/Green wire on pin 11, and connect pin 12 to the cluster, you would get some sort of signal. Very possible that it could be the same resistance range.

so u have to use the brown sender from the e30 but is there a plug on the s50 harness that fits the sender or must a plug be modified?

Not long at all. Not much longer than a getrag 260 with a 3.73. At 80 with my getrag 260/3.73lsd I was at 3500 rpm but with my ZF/2.93lsd I'm at 3100 at 80mph. Still lots of torque and still lose traction on first and second when throwing it into gear (Almost losing traction fully on second).

Do I like it? Hell yea. Love it. Couldn't be happier. But I do have a noise coming from the rear end... don't know if its the tires transferring noise from the ground to my cabin because of the stiff ass bushings or my 2.93lsd is humming. I checked the diff before slapping it on and cracked it open. No shavings, and was a factory rebuilt. So it felt real good. Just don't think its it. But could always be a possibility.

Dude, are you going to try grounding pin 11 of the x20? If it works, let me know.

Just buy the ebay headers and call it a day! :hitler:

Otherwise look into KK headers or TMS shorties if you want to be a baller! ;)
