Another S52 swap... but this time with a newb!

I know an evo 8 will run a 13.05 stock and iI havent seen an e30 with a swap on here close to that with out a euro swap.. Props for beeting him but he cant drive

E30lolz on BFC got a 13.07 with the same mods, tranny, and diff that I have on street tires.

Maybe with a pro driver will and evo run that but I still have my doubts about an evo being that fast.

I scored a new kill this morning on the way to work. Blew the doors off a E46 M3 on the highway while driving my '97 Isuzu Rodeo. True story, just check the weather report for the morning commute in central PA.......

Lol yea. I'm getting obd2 midpipes tomorrow and hopefully a stock 96-98 exhaust along with it for emissions (although its not a problem maybe it'll save me 40 bucks).

First Kill Story:

Driving back from Lowes getting some stuff for my girlfriends car to fix her window regulator (cable snapped) and a 2007 (or 08?) Evo MR pulls next to me then speeds up a little. I think in my head, "hrm... s52 w/ 2.93 lsd and shitting ass exhaust (obd1 midpipes with stock e30 muffler <--- so restrictive) I shouldn't try... I'll just get disappointed." So I didn't do anything at first, then we end up at a light. Go figure.

At the light I didn't do shit, I have no traction in first nor when I rip it to second gear from first so I didn't bother trying to get a launch or do anything period. But then suddenly he floors it away then stops real quick as if he was taunting me... Again... I didn't want to disappoint myself... So I thought about it more and decided to catch up to him to see what he would do and he floors it away so I gun it after him and I notice that even though he took off early I was gaining on him ever so slightly...

Next light he makes a left, and I decide to follow, this is where I was ever so happy. We line up and we're rolling in second, he hits it and I get on it. Bare in mind I was shifting at 6400 and scared to money shift lol. So end of second I start to pull ever so little and threw it into third gaining half a fender and then end of third probably about a fenders length ahead.

The verdict: I was faster! YAY! LOL. Flame on me all you want, I don't condone racing anywhere but I just needed some piece of mind of where I stood with this swap. It felt oh so good to be pulling on an Evo MR. If only I had a real exhaust setup... (Ebay manifolds/AA track pipe/UUC E36 M3 exhaust <--- What I really want)... I would pull a lot harder on the guy. Boy that was fun...
