Just curious if any of your airbag stuff is hooked up? When I do my m50 swap I was going to rip all that crap out to tidy up the engine bay of all those orange boxes. Is there anything wrong with doing this? Aside from obviously not being able to have airbag again...

Just that really. Though an airbag setup that still works and doesn't blink the SRS light is somewhat rare. Your downside is under the ugly orange box is an ugler red bracket welded to the wheel well.

Here's better pictures. If you look closely at the rubber seals you could see the impression marks from the hood liner pressing up against it. I will be taking it off, polishing it up, and applying adhesives to the seals as they aren't glued atm. Since I have nothing better to do this up coming weak. I'll do a page worth of writeup of what I actually did / use.

Thanks for the complement. As for producing some for the public... if I had an easier way of making these I would market these to r3v members. But just making a hole in the sheet metal takes a long process.

probably answered already, but where did you get those rubber seals from?

I'm going to be making a full plastic version just because its easy to handle soon. I'll keep you guys updated. IF I could make a reliable/perfect one I'll definitely make some by the order.
