Basically you can keep all existing wiring and pressure sensors and keep original HVAC unit to control ac compressor and can unit will inform the ECU to rise the rpm. Also you can rewire just the ac compressor relay to ECU and let the ECU control the ac compressor too with the added benefit of full load cutout and high coolant cutout done by ECU.

Alternatively you can use ac control as a 2nd map switch for the ECU too by changing fuel/ spark maps for ac compressor too.

This unit also decode check engine, electric throttle and oil level data and convert those to use with regular bulb outputs so that can wire to any indication light on the dash.
