    Hey guys - I've got some bad news (well bad for some of you anyway). The AKG mounts don't allow for full engagement of the nut (see attached photo). You could use a shorter nut but in my case (living in NZ), this will not be road compliant. I need thread to show beyond the nut by a full 2 turns, in this case (even with a thin nut) it's barely flush (with a washer).

    Also, if you have a oil cooler (in the form of the factory a heat sink, which I understand didn't come on the US models), you are going to have issues with radiator clearance - I didn't take a photo of this sorry.

    My solution will be to make my own brackets (moving the engine back slightly) and use different engine mounts.

    I was pondering going down the softer mount anyway, so this is the push I needed.

      The existing arms are great, these will push the motor back 15mm and otherwise fit exactly like the AKG mounts (except that they have threads on top so a longer bolt will fit the Al arms...)
