As far as tires, I have been looking at some calculators to compare sizes.
The current set up: 215/45/17 sidewall height= 3.81 rev/mi= 819.7
Considering : 225/40/17 3.54 837.7
225/45/17 3.99 808
Stock: 205/55/15 4.44 845.1
Still trying to decide between the 40 or 45's in the 225 width.
On one hand the 40 is closer in revs/mi as stock so my speedo will be more accurate again, but shorter sidewall than my current set up which means it may not rub but then again I don't want lower profile tires.
I think the 45's might look better and be less jarring over bumps but I'm afraid they might rub even if I roll the fenders.
Someone push me in the right direction.

Hey R3V, Riken Mesh wheels 15x6.5 et35. I'm pretty sure these will be fine since it's a 6.5 inch wide wheel. I have some Falken Azenis 205/50/15 to match. This is my >$200 autoX wheel and tire setup and I don't want to or plan on rolling fenders/ trimming the IX Bodykit. I have the tires but haven't purchase the rims yet. If anything is a red flag let me know! Also what's the biggest tire that would fit on a 6.5 inch rim? Would a 225 work if I decided to do all of that and get a bigger tire?Build Thread

Ok that's what I figured. If I decide to go bigger then I'll be using a wider rim with higher offset. I think.. Thanks Nando!Build Thread

Here is my new ix prefacelift..16x8 et20, front there is adapter 20mm, tyres are 215/45-16. I dont know those spring, but stock shock absorbers.
I was roll little those front plastic wheel arch, also there was little rubbing in there m-tech I bumper corner, but i was showing some heat there.
At the back there is not adapters, there is made that same thing as was that my red ix, there is those rubber pad to stiff that spring little.
In this prefacelift-model has little more room in those arch then facelift, also those plastic wheel arch is better then in facelift model
PS, those rims are Rota grid-v, they are meant for frontwheeldrive car, so i need put at least 20mm adapter in front to clear those front brake caliber rack hitting those rims spokes..I will try some day 15mm adapter in front also it need at front because it looks silly now, then that front is way more wider then back, i was thinking like 15mm also.
Pss, sorry for those big pictureLast edited by litu; 05-18-2016, 04:16 AM.
