What will go through a slalom faster. A stock IX or stock is?

Who cares? I wouldnt want a stock version of either one of them. A stock ix is obviously tuned for different handling than an is, anyway.

the t1r is a lot grippier than what most e30s come with when you buy them...

definitely have more grip than the bald nankangs that peckerwood jordan runs.

What does the stock handling matter? They both suck in stock form, and the ix is tuned for snow traction and handling. Duh in stock form its not as good on dry pavement. Do you honestly believe you have to leave the stock handling and tune stock? Who doesnt know what they are talking about here?

BMW decided to make a car just for snow. U hear that everyone the IX is only "tuned" for snow duh.

huh? you dont make any sense. so you can't retune the car? a 325is is meant to drive yuppies to golf practice, yet somehow people turn them into pro race cars?

Spec e30 is huge dude. And why can't u returned an IX to run in spec e30?

^That's what he is saying. People took yuppie mobiles and made a big race series out of it. Just because the ix was created as an all weather 3 series doesn't mean it can't be fine tuned to handle well under clear skies.

Because its against the rules? Are you that dense? You cant pilot a 318is, 325e or M3 in specE30 either, so i guess they all suck too? Lol...

They are all worse then the 325is and u can still use their shells.

An m3 is worse than a 325is? In what universe?

Yeah, you can use the shells, but they are rwd. Theres no class for the ix, there arent enough of them to be cost effective. SpecE30 is about low cost racing, not building the best possible race car. Its like asking why motorcycles arent allowed in F1..

I'm just saying the point of the thread is compairing stock is to stock IX.

I'm saying nobody cares about stock handling. they both understeer like pigs and have floaty, 4x4 suspension with 2 feet of ground clearance.
