@ dark side of will: its called oxalic acid. cleans vary vary well you juist cant let it sit on the paint cause it can stain it.
@ AWDBOB: thank you im trying to get this car back on the road asap.
And i now have a front iX driveshaft and a iX brake booster and master cylinder on the way. I am so excited not all i need to do is get a transfer case and rebuid the motor. IM SO DAMN CLOSE.
sweet thanks.
Passenger side engine bay i used an acid that will not harm my paint to clean it further and as you can see i need to do some serious touch up work and im still not done. I may throw down some dynamat where the paint has pealed. I think it may have pealed because of the exhaust.
Yup 300 for the car it's taken a bit of time and effort to hunt down the parts for the Car.
Speaking of parts I got some bolts for the front subframe it was missing 2 of them and I got a new ball joint for the passenger side control arm German made Aaawwww yeah.
I would assume that the ix rack is stronger than the RWD rack as well. the steering coupler is significantly different.
Just noticed that yday putting my drivers console back together. Thought it looked a bit odd. Pissed when I got it back together and realized I forgot the firewall grommet *ugh.
So I've been doing some thinking and it I think it would be better to get a running ix motor and just drop it in the car and call it good. Then with the block that I have get it ready for a turbo. So the block will have all arp hardware. Line honed with the arp main bolts. Lighten the rotating assembly. Using a forged crank shaft and ill get lightened forged connecting rods maybe. then get some new pistons for the block is being sent to AIMS and they are going to deck it bore it line hone it ..... pretty much do everything a machine shop can do to a block for a really good price.
I love how it looks over the lip that's on it. I was actually going to hunt down a racing dynamics spoiler but cam across that and couldn't pass it up.
