Just wait until I'm done. You'll see how good it can look. Shrouds are being repainted also, and the airdam is being reinforced, remounted, and perfectly aligned.

I'm not at all saying your car doesn't look good, it looks great. But no matter how you dress up diving boards they are always going to be the worse possible E30 OEM bumper setup (to me at least).

Thanks for the compliment, TJ. I know they're not everyone's cup of tea, but for some reason, I just like them on my car. Maybe I'll bring a few people with me when they're finished. :D

Agreed, I don't think diving boards are what the designers of these cars ever intended, they were just the best thing they could come up with to meet U.S. standards. I bet the designers would agree that they are the worst possible OEM setup. I think euro chrome is how the car was intended to look.

P.S. I do think your car looks good Josh

I did not like my D-boards & afterthought looking hanging from the bumper fogs. I LOVE my painted D-boards and late model fogs and yes I agree a valance in back is warranted.

now people are going to be saying "D Boards FTW" when they comment peoples cars.

i like early cars more, because they don't have retard-arches.

Werd to that. My car is pretty low (IE/Koni) but thanks to the higher rear arches, doesn't look slammed.

which is funny because I think many early cars have goofy looking arches (mostly due to having more fender gap in the rear than in the front).

Ummm, isnt that considered more correct? i would rather have more fender gap out back, in fact, companys make thier springs shorter in the front to emulate that kind of raked stance.
