Who is making seat upholstery kits now?

Not the L-seat types. We don't want leather, maybe quality vinyl Pearl bolsters with maybe the tan houndstooth centers. It's a Pearl interior, sport seats. The back seat is hard but fine, the fronts are shredded.

There used to be some people out there. What happened to Ninestitch? I checked their site and its shift boots, shave bags, accessories. No mention of seats.

I looked through ebay and these are pre-made kits, but it looks to me they can make any combination of original fabrics.

That dude has been around for a while. Ebay scrubs all negative feedback. There's been a lot of people on R3V that had negative experiences with him.

You're talking about the ebay guy, not Ninestitch? He's been around quite a while, and used to do a ton of seats here, but stopped at some point...?

        zoomzoomzoom ebay not so good?

Yeah there's multiple threads about zoom-zoom-zooming's ebay shop dating back to 2012 and maybe later. Almost all of them are negative. Dudes name is Steven iirc.

              that's ... not a great example, unfortunately.

I've had experience with a couple different kit manufacturers.

LSeat - their default material sucks. I won't even call it leather. their upgrade leather is better. Customization is possible but they have <50% success rate understanding and following instructions.
zoomzoomzoom - I've had reasonable experiences, the owner has been in the business for a long time, running a local upholstery shop in LA. Customization is possible, he'll happily use materials that you send him, and things are generally well made. Expect it to take longer for non-premade things.
falvalle2012 - vinyl only, but the patterns are really good. Communication, unfortunately, is bad, and no customization.
GAHH/WorldUpholstery - $$$$, seem to be very well made. I've only interacted with their kits secondhand, but they look near factory quality.
