LED gauge lighting

i bet you could just get some led wedge bulbs and modify it too fit in the cluster. ddm had some really nice multi led wedges for $2 each at bimmerfest.

I wanna slap a set of indiglo faces in there. Already removed the orange plastic so the different colored lights don´t interfere with each other.

Is there a company that makes indiglo gauges for E30s?

Those things remind me of the mid-90's ricer craze but if done right... and it would have to be done reeeeeeeal right... indiglo might look ok in an E30.

I ordered the same ones, I'm tired of dim gauges. I also plan on converting to E36 lighted needles.

my only complaint is the red text for KPH, I'd rather it was white.

they're appealing because they stick to the same OEM white/black look rather than the ricer blue or white face look. yuck!

I jump back and forth between my wife's subaru and my car and it's really annoying how dim my gauges are. I know part of it is somebody put in a 5w bulb and it partially melted one of the orange lenses (making it dimmer), but if I'm going to open it up to fix that I may as well go all the way.

I also want to do the SI batteries, just need to find the PN.

I asked a while ago and he said they're working on it. I'd rather have an 8k tach face than a 150+mph speedo though, when are you ever going to go 150mph? :p

I agree with the 8k tach, It would be more functional than a 150k speedo.

But ive maxed out the stock speedo a couple of times. not in my car but in my buddies turbo e30. it sees 150 a couple times a month at least... :b_blue

Once my car has bigger tires and power it will see them speeds maybe some euro gears too.

Before it starts, people dont say anything about blah blah blah public roads. There is a thread already beating that dead horse.
